Room Mate Luca, Florence

My stay was wonderful, traveling with friends and family. The rooms were beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like chocolate treats left by our coffee table. Although our first room had a drainage issue, it was promptly resolved by Eleonora, who was attentive and proactive in addressing our concerns. A highlight of our stay was Aman, who made incredible coffee every morning—his kindness, warmth, and attentiveness truly added to our experience. I looked forward to my morning espresso and the delicious mini donuts each day. Breakfast was exceptionally good, with a variety of cakes, donuts, and other treats that made each morning special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

We booked this hotel very last minute (2 hours before check in as another hotel cancelled) to say this was the nicest hotel we've stayed in on a city break is an understatement From the second we arrived Erida greeted us. She was so welcoming and so friendly! We had a slight issue with a machine noise in our room and on the second morning Erida sorted this, like a true professional and was so kind. There wasn't enough she could do for us. The location is absolutely ideal for sight seeing or travellers in Florence. It's situated on a quiet road. Less than 10 mins to the train station and 5 mins to the main Duomo square! There's so many nice restaurants near too!!! I've never stayed in these hotels so I was nervous. But the service is extremely good. We were greeted by the wonderful Aman and Mariam for breakfast each day. Breakfast is on until 12pm, which was brilliant as we could go sight seeing and have breakfast early or later. The quality of the food was brilliant and by day 5 Aman greeted us as if we were family. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I can't wait to stay in another Room Mate hotel on my travels.

The hospitality was exceptional. I felt right at home as soon as I checked in.The team are kind and generous hosts.The rooms are really spacious, with a very clean bathroom. delicious breakfast, Very helpful and professional staff, and I would like say thanks to Mario, Chiara for the great support, great attitude , positive energy and always smiling and helpful honestly They advised me a lot with the appropriate directions to make my stay fantastic.Additionally, the restaurant's personnel is excellent thanks to Marie Thank you again, and we'll be back soon

Finding a hotel in Florence was difficult for us because we didn't want an old and dirty hotel (like most hotels in Florence). We found Luca and after carefully evaluating the reviews, we booked it. The best thing about the hotel was the staff, very pleasant, friendly, and willing to help with anything. The room was very clean; you could tell the hotel had been recently renovated; the bathroom fixtures were quite new. The breakfast was adequate, with lots of fruit and a selection of dishes that aren't very typical in Italy (one day there was basmati rice with herbs?). The location is perfect if you don't mind walking: it's close to the center, but not so close that the noise at night keeps you from sleeping (believe me, Florence is very noisy at night in the summer). Here at the Luca, we were able to rest peacefully. I'd say it was about a 10- to 15-minute walk from the hotel to the Duomo. We were very happy to have stayed at the Luca; we would book it again 100%.

I booked this extremely last minute when it became clear I was unable to reach my planned destination due to travel distribution. I didn't want to pay a fortune and wanted to be close to the station, there wasn't much choice. The way my travel had been to that point, I was shocked to find out that this hotel was not only real, it was a proper hotel which looked normal. The check in was good. The room was small but absolutely fine for my needs and exactly how I expected when I booked. I have no idea if this is a good location, but it's about 15 minutes from the station. When I arrived, after 9pm the streets from the station were ridiculously crowded and the walk was unpleasant. Much better the following morning and being the opposite to a morning person, I don't say that lightly. I have no desire to be near Florence again but if I ever have to be, I'd book this hotel. I'd definitely look at this chain in the future. There is a kettle in the room and the shower gel is really nice.
